Elder Patriot – The desperation of Obama’s minions continues to become more obvious with each passing day. We’ve chronicled former Secretary of State John Kerry’s frantic crisscrossing of Europe meeting with representatives of Iran as well as a number of European leaders in an effort to save the Iranian nuclear deal and the $1.7 Billion (at least), that they were counting on to line their pockets.
Keep in mind Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.
Even after Trump’s announcement that the United States was withdrawing Kerry continued meeting with Iranian officials and disparaging our president and his administration.
So John Kerry just left a meeting @ L’Avenue in Paris w/3 Iranians. A friend was sitting next to their table and heard JK blasting @realDonaldTrump. The Iranians had a 5 person security detail and left in diplomatic vehicles. Is he FARA registered? @seanhannity @TuckerCarlson pic.twitter.com/vVYwDQTPNb

The meetings were confirmed but it was what Kerry told the Iranians that is infuriating:
From an op-ed that appeared on FoxNews.com:
“An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed the meetings after the Boston Globe broke the news, declaring, “We don’t see the U.S. just as Mr. Trump; the United States is not just the current ruling administration.” Think about what this means. Iran is a terrorist state responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans in Iraq, whose leaders hold rallies where thousands chant “Death to America!” Kerry was working with a sworn enemy of the United States to try to undermine the foreign policy of the elected president of the United States.”
“Kerry’s meetings with Iran’s leaders were not isolated incidents, but part of a formal lobbying campaign that included phone calls with European Union leaders and meetings with the presidents of Germany and France in which, the Globe reports, he discussed “the details of sanctions and regional nuclear threats in both French and English.”
The three Iranians were later identified as terrorists not diplomats.
Roll that around in your mind for a while. Kerry violated the Logan Act in such an egregious manner that it screams, after 240 years, to finally be enforced.
18 U.S. Code § 953 commonly known as the Logan Act:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This wasn’t Dennis Rodman visiting with Kim Jong-un and trying to heal wounds between two countries in conflict. Kerry’s goal was to undermine U.S. interests, and guarantee Iran access to nuclear weapons so that the massive payoff of U.S. taxpayer dollars would flow to the architects and signatories of the deal.
This wasn’t Kerry’s first go at undermining U.S. foreign policy either.
“Ma’ariv reported that former US Secretary of State John Kerry met in London with a close associate of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Hussein Agha, for a long and open conversation about a variety of topics.”
“During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked Agha to convey a message to Abbas and ask him to “hold on and be strong.” Tell him, he told Agha, “that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President Trump’s demands. According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House.”
Kerry’s suggestion to Agha was to refrain from attacking the United States but rather to direct his verbal attacks towards President Trump. This was not a simple act of political defiance it too was gross violation of the Logan Act.
The ever-arrogant Kerry was appalled during his term as Secretary of State when U.S. Senator Tom Cotton wrote a letter to Iran’s leaders making them aware that Congress has a role in approving agreements with foreign countries:
“My reaction to the letter was utter disbelief. To write leaders in the middle of a negotiation … is quite stunning … [and] ignores more than two centuries of precedent in the conduct of American foreign policy no matter what the issue and no matter who was president.”
Let’s not forget that in 1970, while a private citizen, Kerry flew to Paris to negotiate with the North Vietnamese, also without any authorization to do so, and at a time when then Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was involved with delicate discussions to end the war.
It’s time that Kerry’s treasonous behavior is made an example of. It’s time that the Logan Act is finally used to prosecute this traitor.
